<<I recommend reading the description before playing the Game!>>

'HoriVerti!' is Casual magic game.

Gather horizontal and vertical lines to use your skills!

<Controls>

Connection line (left UI information) : Input Key - WASD

Skills (right UI information) : Input Key - Numpad 1, 2, 3 or J,K,L

<Game rules>

Keep the lines as far as you can, avoiding red zone!

When you go to red zone, a wall, or a place you've already connected, the character stops spelling and uses magic.

It's like a one-step drawing!

Attack power increases by the number of horizontal and vertical lines!!

If the number of times the line is connected to the red area exceeds 8,

it becomes "OVERLOAD" State for 3 seconds and cannot be operated.

The more you connect to a red zone, the more likely you are to have a red zone.

<Skills>

Skill 1. Attacks can be made without creating a connection line.

 - Cost) Horizontal : 2, Vertical : 2

Skill 2. Restore the player's HP.

 - Cost) Horizontal : 4, Vertical : 2

Skill 3. Reduce the speed of enemies in the field. There is a small amount of damage.

(The effect can be overlapped)

 - Cost) Horizontal : 2, Vertical : 4

<Info UI>

Let's shout the magic spell "HoriVerti!" together!

<Playing>

<Tips>
1. Horizontal and Vertical can collect up to 100. Keep using your skills!

2. The more you connect to a red zone, the more likely you are to have a red zone.

3. Maybe it's a good play to induce overload quickly to reset the 'red zone' probability.

Clean gameplay! I initially missed that "exiting" the board as long as it wasnt into a RED node was a good thing and actually casts the main spell "horiverti". Its damage scales based on nodes connected when you exit (or run back into your path). As long as I kept overload at 0, I could keep spell hor and ver ammo at max and defeat anything. My hand started getting tired, so I stopped at phase 33 lol. Each of the 3 spells felt useful too.

Seems like a nice game to zen out to music while having something to occupy your hands and brain! Great!

Thank you for the good review!!
In fact, I calmly reflected on the completeness of the game myself.
After a certain phase, this game becomes a simple repetitive task with a certain strategy!!
Although you wrote the article with good reviews, I admit that this is actually a big problem with this game.
So, if I update this game later,
1. Add a boss monster that changes the operation pattern.
2. Add an upgrade function for skills that frequently appear in rogue-like.

Thank you so much for working hard to reach a high score and explaining the game.
Have a nice day  :)

Nice Try..!

Thank you for the good appreciation :)

이 게임엔 필승법이 존재해!

Hush..! 🤫

Interesting mechanics but the UI needs more work to and more explanation of the mechanics is needed, starting with what each spell does. EDIT: I meant in-game but I see it is explained in the description. Also, the enemy health is very misleading. Once the four-hit enemies appear, they spam spawn and I die easily.

Thank you for playing the game and giving me feedback!

I felt a lot of things that you pointed out that I was lacking.

This is my first game to show people, so I'm missing a lot.

Although I don't have time right now, I'll try to fix the game even after "Kenny zam" ends.

Thank you! Have a nice day :)
